Near Rutherglen and Beechworth in north east Victoria, a pretty country lane leads you to this 1850s double storey mansion. Five beautifully furnished guest bedrooms, all with private ensuites. The rooms are luxurious in their attention to detail, with personal touches throughout. The views over the grounds and onto the surrounding countryside are superb, whatever the season. Breakfast is a gourmet delight, usually taken on the verandah in the warmer months. Acclaimed cuisine is on offer in the evening at $70 for three courses.
