Bungunyah’ consists of the main premises, a restored 19th Century homestead and accommodation facilities which are fully independent serviced apartments.

The homestead of Bungunyah (‘Lost Shelter’) was named, and built in the 1880’s. The property was initially used as a horse stud, and has a history of three owners including the current owners the Kos’s, who restored the homestead to its former splendour in 1980.

The home is surrounded by a beautiful garden which is a haven for birds and wildlife. Each apartment has its own private garden within which guests can relax, sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Bungunyah.

Self-contained independent apartments located at the gateway to the Yarra Valley Wine District, The Dandenong Ranges and the historical township of Warrandyte.

Situated only 30 mins from Melbourne CBD, enjoy both urban and rural attractions.

The apartments are a unique European design and each has an individual theme. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are available and each has a separate garage, plus front and rear private gardens. All apartments are luxury appointed, fully self-contained with linen and bedding provided. 3 bedroom apartments are 2 storey townhouses, and have 2 bathrooms plus a family room as well. Weekly servicing is provided for stays of 7 days or more.

Bungunyah apartments are owner built and operated by Kees and Lisa who are passionate about their property and intent on providing first class accommodation and friendly service.

Regardless of whether you are a corporate traveller or visiting for recreational reasons, Bungunyah provides luxurious and comfortable living within the confines of native bush land and immaculate gardens.
